Track JIRA projects Budget Progress

Tracking a project budget is a critical aspect of project management that ensures financial control and project success.

Worklog360 is the ideal tool to help you track and organize the time logged to billable hours (and non-billable hours) and project budgets.

Administrators
  • First Steps for Setting up Worklog360 - Set up Worklog360 for your organization with some basic but important steps

  • Enable tracking of billable time in the Worklog360/Setting/Billable Time Rule

  • Set up Billable Rates - Set billable rates that will determine the money amount for each Jira worklog and will be used to track you budget spends.

Project Managers
  • Financialas - The Financials menu helps you manage budgets, monitor worklogs for billing, and handle invoicing. It contains three main sub-tabs:

    • Budgets - Set up and track budgets for projects or clients. Monitor progress against budgeted hours or budgeted amounts to ensure your team stays on target. Check: How to create and track budgets

    • Worklogs & Budget Administration - Manage and review worklogs from a financial perspective. This includes verifying and adjusting:

    • Invoicing – Create, manage, and send invoices to clients based on tracked billable worklogs. Invoices are generated from the budgets you’ve set, ensuring amounts accurately reflect the time and rates allocated to each project.
